Violet Crow Soap Co. - **Natural Bath & Body Products**
The story of Violet-Crow

People often ask why I chose the name Violet-Crow for my soap company. I came up with the name combination after much thought and reflection about my life.

Over the past few years, I have been on a quest to find a healthier lifestyle. I have studied with shamans, aromatherapists, crone women and Reiki masters, as well as several Western medical practioners. During this search of health, I discovered the amazing properties and importance of what nature has to offer us.

I was first introduced to essential oils during a meditation class in which we used the scent to induce relaxation. From there, I researched and began my studies to make soap and natural skin care products using such oils. Not only have I benefited from discovering natural products but have also found the importance of meditation and continue to practice daily.

During one particularly powerful meditation, my totem animal came to be in a clear vision. The crow has since become a significant symbol in my life. What better way to honor my crow totem than name a company after it? As for the violet, the flower symbolizes faithfulness, watchfulness and rural happiness. This particular combination is deeply threaded throughout my life.

As for the future of Violet-Crow, you can expect new twists, turns and surprises along the way...which is how I seem to live my life! In 2011, at a healthy age of 37, I had an ischemic stroke. I have recovered much of the physical deficit but my life as never been the same for fifty different reasons.

I am currently working on several side projects (and products!) as well as a new book for stroke survivors, such as myself. All will be unveiled and available through this website. More information is to come as well as a blog.  Violet-Crow is environmentally friendly and a supporter of small businesses, local community organizations as well as the National Stroke Association. Please check our Likes and Loves tab to see where the Violet-Crow likes to land.   (Tab is soon to come)
